A Taize-style service is offered on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Chapel.
This candle-lit, contemplative service lasts approximately 30 minutes and consists of chanting/singing, scripture, silent meditation, intercessions and other prayers. It is based on the worship style of an international, ecumenical community of Brothers in Taize, France.
Please mark your calendar—September 29th and October 26th we will again patronize Hobbs Farm for a Roast Beef or Roast Pork Dinner with all the compliments. Sign up sheet is posted soon.
Our labyrinth is an outdoor brick & grass modified 7-circuit medieval labyrinth. It is made up of approximately 690 bricks, including the entrance path and is approximately 50 feet in diameter. As you enter the labyrinth you are facing east—the direction of the rising sun, hope, light, the risen Son.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to discover what a labyrinth is and what it is not; to discover some of its history; to discover how it can be used as a walking meditation, a tool of healing and transformation. We’ll explore and discover ways that the labyrinth can be a part of one’s personal, as well as parish-wide spiritual journey. The workshop will be led by Robin Yergeau and members of our Spirituality Team. Robin is a newly Veriditas-trained Labyrinth Facilitator. She was trained this summer by Lauren Artress—Episcopal priest, psychotherapist, founder of Veriditas and author of Walking a Sacred Path and The Sacred Path Companion. Robin is excited to share what she has learned! The workshop will include time to walk our beautiful outdoor brick & grass modified 7-circuit medieval labyrinth. Please bring a lawn chair, journal, something to write with and dress prepared to be outside during this part of the workshop. There will be coffee, tea and refreshments available throughout the morning. A suggested workshop donation of $25 would be much appreciated. To register please contact Robin Yergeau at email@example.com or (603) 512-9395. Registration deadline is Oct. 10th.
Rev. Debs and Melanie will be having a house warming lunch on Saturday 16th September, and if you cannot make that date, a second house warming lunch on October 21st. Please bring a dish to pass, something to drink, and a camp chair, plate and utensils, and come up anytime from 12 noon. Feel free to bring swimwear if you would like to swim and shoes to hike in if you wish. We can’t wait to have you up to our new home!
